But the truck this age does not require an inspection (something like anything before 1946).
It was somewhat amazing that it was all holding together. Really on secure on one side from the weld, everything else was just floating. Only two 5/16 or so bolts per side holding the spring shackles on.
It might explain the funny metal on metal sounds I was hearing when pushing back snow...
