Hi Milo:

No, it isn't that same one. My article on fitting a Ford 9N-2N-8N belt pulley to the Power Wagon appeared in the April 1989 issue of Power Wagon Advertiser at pages 8-9. The adopter we used was only 4 inches long and had two ends with 4 bolt holes like the bottom end of the item in the eBay photo you linked to. It had no internal drive shaft as seen in the eBay auction.

The belt pulley adapter kit we used was made by Hub City Products Company of Aberdeen, SD, and was their Belt Pulley Adapter Kit part number 03-32-00521. It had to be milled a bit to fit over the raised circle on the Power Wagon pillow block housing. It had no drive shaft, just a hole in its center.

We also used a Hub City PTO splined adapter shaft (spline shaft extension) that was sized to fit inside the Ford belt pulley which came in two sizes, either a 1-1/8" female receiver or a 1-3/8" female receiver. The PTO splined adapter shaft was separate from and in addition to the Hub City PTO adapter.

It's too complicated to explain here, so get a copy of the 1989 article that has photos showing the necessary machining. Good luck!
