Yep, I know. The 4BT would be more ideal for the space, but keep in mind that as crazy as it might sound, the Carryall is going to become more or less a daily driver. It is also going to take all of the towing duty and I regularly push the 12-15K GVW range so Im not sure a 4BT is up to the task, especially in front of an automatic.

I drove Bobs yellow 6x6 and that had some pretty serious tunnel mods, but I am not a big dude by any means and I really didnt feel tight or restricted sitting behind the wheel of that truck. I was actually a bit stoked after seeing the Bus at the rally, it really sat up high for frame clearance, but the spacers underneath really werent that tall and the back of the motor was right at the firewall....and he had moved it back 4" in the frame.

I will be really tight behind the dash with getting the heat and air ducting in so I am thinking I'll move that stuff to the rear somewhere and make a simple plenum system that runs through the ceiling like the suburban and Tahoe and if you have never looked into how those are set up, they are basically cardboard with a hole cut for the vent. I kept all of that stuff out of a 95 I parted out for this project. I may ditch the Sub seats and go to something out of a Grand Cherokee or S10 blazer but we will just see how it plays out.

I have now all but purchased a 98 truck minus V10 motor. Low mileage too, tranny went bad and the body is really banged up.....so it's exactly what I was after.
