I am building a lift gate for my Carryall. The inner structure is steel. After messing up a couple of sheets of steel I decided to skin it in glass. Those compound curves are too much for me and a hammer although i got pretty close. I just built up a skin with two layers of mat. My plan was two layers of matt , sand out some highs and then a layer of cloth. Is that too thin or should i go for another layer of mat then the cloth. Using unwaxed for the bottom layers and waxed for the top.
The carryall thread just hit 340,000 views.
