Next Adjustment
- Remove the drag link at the steering gear arm.
- Take off the steering gear arm from the steering gear shaft.
- Turn the front wheels by hand so they are set in the straight ahead position.
- Locate the mid-position of the steering gear by turning the steering wheel end-to-end counting the turns, then back half the turns to center the gear.
- Reconnect the drag link to the steering gear arm.
- Install the steering gear arm on the steering gear shaft and drive the arm on the shaft.
- Install the steering gear arm lock washer and nut and tighten securely.
Don't give up, this is the last adjustment you can make and hopefully, it will solve the problem.
