Mine are welded that way and it looks factory. I just finished my front shackles today and strapped all the brake and fuel lines. Shackles were a bit hard on 1 rivet but I got the bushings out and new ones in. One side was OK still in the bushing. Drivers side the mount needed replacing it cut into the steel a little. Put the frame extensions on temporary. Engine is next and down the hill on the rest of the drive train.
