The guy in the construction p/u was being an ass. My dad used to call that "platooning" -- when two vehicles pace each other so nobody can pass. No doubt the p/u guy thought "I'm going the speed limit and I'm not going to let that jerk behind me pass". Legally, he's right, but despite that his nice truck is now wrecked. What did he win? If the drivers had died, the medical examiner should put "testosterone poisoning" on both of their death certificates.
