Unless your frame is from a 1961-68 WM300? In that case the number is on the passenger side.

I've failed to find serial numbers on frames before, but it was always a rusty frame or one that had a lot of stuff mounted on it. A bead of weld in the wrong spot will remove any traces of a number.
