There are a lot of different NP205 transfer cases.
Big difference in cases is a drivers drop, passenger drop, married or divorced , figure eight race track or universal six case.
internals do interchange to a degree. there are a mess of spline counts . Dodge 23 , dodge 29 , Ford 31, Chebby has a 32 , a 10 and several more a 27 I think.
and there is a rare sincro mesh one.
Ford , Chebby , Dodge , International used them and I have run across them in other stuff but my brain has taken a nap in that regard.
They are easy to rebuild, you can convert them to twin shift if you like lots of shifters.
Try and find a quality rebuild kit that uses twin lip seals instead of the cheaper single lip seals. It will leak much less.
