Your first paragraph brought back a memory and a laugh about lookin cool with a dually. I was at a car dealer looking for a new dually and wanted to trade in my current truck.
I told the sales person that I wanted a new dually with a diesel. Fine he says and we head for the back lot. He starts showing me single rear axle trucks. After about 3 I asked if he understood that I wanted a dually. He commented that I was like everyone else who came in looking for a dually. He stated that I did not need a dually, like everyone else all I would do is throw a six pack in the bed and head for the woods looking cool. I simply told him that I was putting a 10 1/2' camper in the bed and would be towing a 20' trailer with a full size truck on it. His comment was I guess you need a dually and we do not have any in stock.
My next stop was to his manager and told him I did not appreciated the comment and the salesman for wasteing my time. I also stated that I would never buy a truck from them and I would also tell my friends what happened. I walked out and have never been back.
