You can see in the picture how the 3/16" backing plates will go into the frame channel on the inside. The other side is bent 90 degs and under the frame coming up the side for the bed. It will have the long strip you can see welded to it. Nothing will be welded to the Original Frame at this time. I could weld the inside plates to the Cross Member since they butt to it if needed. Once all painted black and the bed on and over it won't they stand out like now.
