I was back there once for the whole month of September, for a wedding. I couldn't get the the relatives to let me go to the car show, too much wedding stuff going on. But we did go to the Silver Lake swap meet across the street form the Amherst car swap. Darn place closed for the winter while I was there.
But what is even worse, after September here in San Diego, I can't get an ice cream cone weekdays on the boardwalk any more. I could understand Hollis, 35 for the high. Cripes, San Diego, still 90 out, but they board up the cone shop.
