the stock fan on the dodge 3500

is low enuff to get under my hood but tis further out due to the clutch etc. but barely clears the damper so could only be moved back a hair

however i think(hope) a smaller dia. fan(like my stock flathead) misses the balancer if mounted to the 3500 fan hub and by mounting direct with out the clutch moves back quite a bit---again i gotta go look

this puts the fan in the forward section of the radiator shell which is small enuff area to act as a shroud and therefore the smaller flathead fan will be enuff air flo to cool the radiator for the 6bt

again gotta go back and look at the cummins
