This is how I set up the plow on my W300. There is no reason you can't have the winch permanently in place and still have the plow. My plow pump is on a piece of square tubing that slides into a hitch receiver that is welded under the bumper. The plow frame stays on the truck, but the plow assembly disconnects, then I pull the pump off.
