People will think it looks screrwy, but clocking them all so 'normal' is at 12:00 would make them easier to tell at a glance if everything is A-okay. Fighter plane trick.

I plan on using an M-37 panel on my project PW. But I want to hinge it at the bottom and use Dzus at the top. If I never have to hunker down, presticulate myself and twist around to get up under another dash, it will be too soon.

And a thought just struck me, I may mount my fuse panel perpendicular to the dash. Swing the gauge panel down would swing the fuse panel up to vertical. Didn't M-37s use a 90° speedo cable drive? Might come in handy.
