You know what drives me absolutely nuts??
When you are working on some obscure machine, or maybe making something and you are looking for a certain part. You go to Napa, Autozone, etc and they want to know make, model and year of the CAR you are working on.
I needed to buy an ignition switch - a universal fits all type for a 1964 Clark forklift. Let's say you stumble on a switch that you think might work and you want to see the mounting hole diameter or some important item like that. Forget it!!
The auto parts industry needs to know that they will sell a lot more stuff if they go back to allowing people to make their own decisions on whether to buy something or not.
