I dropped the NP435 out of the 318 poly bellhousing in the 1963 Town Panel today. I'm pulling the poly to use in a WDX-WM300 style Power Wagon with an NP420. Don't have the truck at home to measure the opening in the bell. I wonder if the NP420 will bolt up? Should be the same as my 1967 poly with NP435 I would think.
