My wife had a jeep that did that a few years ago everything looked good then after a lot of checking we found a axle u-joint was tight it was not loose but after removing the axle shaft found out the joint was very tight when moving back and forth found one of the caps was dry inside and the needle bearings looked square. Of course no grease fittings on these joints
