Remote oil filter and lines on a 315

I thought I had this down but I want to make sure. On a 315 engine with the remote oil filter, which line on the block goes to the bottom of the filter? I believe it's the rear line closest to the bellhousing that connects to the bottom of the canister. Both lines were off at the canister when I pulled the engine.
