have you thought about having your cam reground? Delta cam shafts in Tacoma does it cheap. any grind you want. I restored a WDX that had dump installed with stock bed from the factory and it weighed about 7K. was a total pig until I shaved the head .075 and put in what delta calls the 'Torque Grind" totally transformed the performance. I have done that on a number of flatheads since then. worth every penny.
