Look at the Littlefulse "MEGA" series fuses. They're designed for low-voltage high-current applications like forklifts and solar battery banks. They're much more compact than "industrial" fuses of similar amps. They're available in 80 to 500 amps. The fuses and the blocks are reasonably priced, especially if you shop around. I've used them in two small solar systems so far.
