I think the easiest and cheapest way to get more road speed is to install a Ranger overdrive between the engine and transmission. It will push the transmission back 7". Cabell Garbee did this on his M37, and you can read about it on his website. But as others have said, the most important thing to consider is how will the truck handle at higher speeds. The Dodge front axle is not designed for highway speeds. Proceed with caution.
