I have a lift point in the middle of my shop that holds safely 1,500 lbs after that I have to brace things up. I made a 4,000 lb 12 ft high electric hoist outside to hang big carcasses up. When I hooked up the transfer case to a chain and slid it off the bench. The top of the chain was further away so it swung with a pretty good swing I had to stop! That part must weight more then I do @ 135 lbs?
