Thanks for your info dave possibly you could enlighten me on the proper way to set these things up. like I said maybe they have improved. The last time I repaired it I noticed the primary shoe was smaller thus causing it to recieve more psi & jam the rear shoe into the drum, like bendix designed it. This just dont work in reverse. Iwas constantly repairing wires ,torn off in the bush or muskeg, or smased with rocks. Dont have problems with vac hoses. Probably WW shoud have used larger drums , magnets or ? Most of my work was oil patch in the mountains. Itried using a single axel Hays tractor Couldent get enough traction to stop or go| Anyhow that trailers gone the electric on my bobcat trailer arnt bad, they will lock up going forward at least.I just cant figure why they would be more reliable than air, air over, or vac over.Peace brother. What do I know anyhow. Regards Old george
