Right now you can pick up 11.00R16 Michelins from Dollar Tire (www.dollartire.com) in Edmonton for US$100-175 each. The $175 are going to have 90+% tread. I bought some 325/85R16 XMLs from them (need 9 or 10" rims) for US$120. 3 of the 4 at that price has 19/32", new is 21/32" (and US$700!!!).
Even if you pay $50-75 truck freight I think you'll get your money's worth.
Don't let the 10 ply rating of the SSRs fool you into thinking they have superstrong sidewalls. They still have 2 polyester sidewall plys, the extra strength on high load rated radials is in the bead, NOT the sidewall. No radial comes close to Michelin's all steel casing. They are worth it and presuming you have 5.83s the extra 2.5" of diameter help gearing on road.
