A new first. While passing through Aspen, I spotted and recognized a PW from this Forum. It's the blue flat-fender cab with the black flatbed. A few forum's back there were photos of this truck on a Moab Utah trail ride. It's a beauty, sorry I can't recall its owner. Was it on its way home from the Rendevous? I was on my way home from a trial ride/camping trip in the Crested Butte CO area with some old 4X4 friends from back east. They all have old Jeeps at home in the garage but only had enough time to drive the "family" 4X4's on this trip. Our route was over Tincup Pass (east to west), over Schofield Pass (south to north) (then back over Kebler Pass west to east), and finally over Pearl Pass (south to north) on three consecutive days. Has anyone ever taken a PW on these? Our vehicles were a Ford Expedition (very impressive performance), a Ford Sport Track, a Chevy 3/4 ton extended cab 8' bed (ugh, at least it had a LOW 1st), and my beloved Toyota 4-runner. We estimated that we had a combined total of 112 years of 4-wheeling experience together and after 28 years still haven't learned a thing! Fortunately, we did not get our vehicles in any situations that would have held up or inconvenienced others on the trials (Jeeps were all we encountered on the most technical portions). What I need more than anything else at this point is a bumper sticker that says "my other 4X4 is a POWER WAGON" Next year I'll plan my summer schedule so that I can make it to the Rendevous. Whether my PW makes it or not by then remains to be seen. Glad to hear everyone had a great time there. Sorry for the long post I'm still "up" from the trails, Bruce
