You're gonna have to move to Colorado or Texas to open up shop if you're gonna ask them kinda prices! Usually I'm good for a $1k bid, but, uh, ummmm, a bed with rounded fenders, come-on, seriously, even I know PW beds aren't supposed to have fenders! The GoodGuys swapmeet in the spring is the best... everyone finishes their projects over the winter and cleans out their garages of "left-overs" and replacement parts for the swapmeet. Walking the lot can take several hours if you're like me & scrutinize every little lense & door handle to find that one $1.00 "find". A regular parts-fest for a junkie like me. I'll be looking for dual carb linkage, dual gas line connectors, & and vented chrome air cleaners for my Stromberg 97s that I will installing on my FlatFender this winter (kinda funny saying "this winter" being in California & all). This swapmeet is not bad however! Usually a little something for everyone, new & used tools, parts , supplies, restoration goodies, tires, rims, food, entertainment, nostalgia collectables, literature & manuals, blah-blah-blah... & oh yea, the cheerleader poster girlies! (rumor has it that Mike Stone from Las Vegas hangs out with the Cheer Leader Girlies discussing Cajun Doggies?) Can't forget them. Hope you can make it. You'd be surprised what PW NUTS you might run into there!
