We had a bunch of Chevy flatbeds and dumps on the farm in Virginia, lots of torque. All of the trucks up there are now running with 305 V8's... sold all the old big displacement stuff years ago.

Chevy first introduced the 305 V6 in 1959, the toro-flow diesel in 1964.
