Lucas sent me the pictures of his Lynn Murphy's (his dad) Power Wagon from Marthas Vineyard. MV is an island off the coast of Massachusetts. Anyway he used it in his business out there.
Pictures taken in 1975 during the moving and launching of the Chappaquiddick ferry "On Time III" through the town of Edgartown, on Marthas Vineyard. If you never heard of Chappaquiddick, thats where Ted Kennedy drove off the bridge with his car that resulted in the death of his passenger Mary Jo Kopecny (sp?)
The 1960 Power Wagon was used in the production of the movie "JAWS". Lucas Murphy's dad, Lynn Murphy, did all the towing of the shark. "JAWS" is hanging from the boom; Universal Studios used this framework for shallow water scenes where you only see the fins. Picture taken on Marthas Vineyard, an island off the coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
