Checking the fit on the parts. I held them strait and the pin dropped in the hole. Very happy with VPWs MU2 Winch Shifter Handle and Brake. The brake pad rubs/locks on the drums side. That way when the drum is dis/engaged from the shaft it can keep it from turning. You can still free wheel the drum or lock it in using the pin under the knob to keep it locked. 2 Pin holes are used to lock this Handle in 2 positions. At least this is the way it looks to me.
