dennis sherman had / has a couple. I think you will find that the flathead six does not have enough horsepower for an automatic in a truck application. i have driven m37 with a 318 and an automatic. it was nicely done and it drove great. just enough power. guy used the truck to plow his yard. the truck was mechanically perfect, but the body was rusty. it was kind of cool to lift the hood and look how perfect it all was done, and then close the hood and marvel how beat up the body was.
