Cummins did make a center front mount for some industrial stationary applications. The single front mount was used in conjunction with the SAE Bell Housing adapter which had mount bosses on each side. This created the 3 point mounting.

If you used a Center front mount in conjunction with a transmission center mount
you would have no stability as both mounts are on the center line. Modern transmissions
such as NV-4500/NV-5600 use a center mount. Then with the front Cummins mount on each side of the engine, you have a 3 point mount with stability
