I am not sure what your saying? There is only one splice in the frame? 1/2 PW and 1/2 WC62 6X6 period. Give me a few weeks and I will be in that part of the truck. You know it does not cost money to take apart and scrub parts. You could be working on your truck and understanding how hard it is to restore one just labor wise and for you that is FREE! You could be a better critic of the work you see in pictures when you start posting some of your own. Just for you When I Pressure Washed the Frame I spent around 30 mins looking at the weld and there is nothing wrong with it. It is fish plated with the other 1/2 of the frame so if for some reason the weld could crack(even tho it hasn't in over 30 years plus)the other frame would hold it is place. Right now I am rebuilding my engine after it is done I will start on the frame just for you and take lots of pictures of a 6 inch welded line in a section of steel frame. Then after the frame is ready for paint and I prime it I will take another picture and when top coat is on another. I am even going to place a string from front to rear checking wheel angles on 6 wheels and cross measure the frame to make sure it is close to square. SEE it is in the plans but I haven't done it. You still need to show me some pictures of your truck??? I don't care if you haven't done a thing to it since you owned it. I like putting a truck to a person.
