It is easier if you remove the front clip. Not a difficult task. If it is a 3/4 ton, removing the clip is not too difficult. Remove the hood then you can actually the clip in one piece. Disconnect wires for the lights at the blocks and radiator hoses. Remove the radiator support rods and the bolts holding the radiator to the frame. Remove the bolts at each bottom corner of the inner skirts (attach to small tabs to the frame). Then remove the 3 bolts that attach the front fender support brackets to the frame right next to the running board. You should be able to remove the front clip. Get a friend to help and lift by the fenders move upward and forward.
