I definitely won't call an M37 anything other than an M37, but with my 1/2 tons (WC-4 and WC-12) it is easier to explain to some people what they are by saying they are the parents of the true Power Wagons.
And unlike the M37 and 70's trucks you have to look twice at some of the parts to realize that it is a civilian fender on a WC or if it is a Civi cab...
when you get really familiar you see the noticeable differences in frames, hoods grills etc. but most people who don't frequent this forum probably never get that far.
