Make sure the top edge of the pan is flat, the bolts/screws are often over-tightened bending the section around the holes up and preventing the gasket from sealing properly. Also don't cut the end gasket pieces, they are longer but designed that way to crush into and seal the space there. Use a hard setting gasket cement on the pan side of the end pieces, if you use a silicone sealer the cork will usually squash out and not seal.
