I have never messed with the B5.9 swaps. The B3.9 and NV-4500 locates the shifter not far off from the original location. The 2 extra cyl's of the B5.9 would move the shifter back some unknown to me distance.
I totally agree on B5.9's being easy to find and at reasonable costs. I cant believe what people are willing to spend on 30 year old B3.9's Duh.....
