As Keith mentioned, I use Peel N Seal on all my vehicles, even the Vette. The floor must be dry and dust free for good adhesion. When you put it down, be happy with its location as its really stuck there. I use 2 layers.
It acts as a Mass Loaded Barrier. Then I put 2 layers of the aluminum faced bubble insulation, then carpet. It makes all the difference in the world.
