Had to go up there the first winter several times to clean it, bad wood caused! That summer I put a ladder out the second floor window off the porch roof bolted down. Then added a section to get to the pipe on the roof. Been there almost 17 years and still works. Sorry for your snow we do not have any?? Normally there could be 2-4 ft on the ground for a couple more months! Great for working on the 6X6 except it is still cold.
