I think the ride in a donk car would be smooth - suspension is a big part of those builds.
I kind of dig seeing '70s hoopties getting set up tall like that but I don't get the fascination with expensive rims.
My uncle gave me a clean '68 4 door Electra 225 - as I recall, I checked and it is actually 225 inches long. Big pig of a car and useless on the back roads into my place. I can imagine it with tall skinny wheels, hydraulics, trunk full of speakers, and a cummins under the hood. But it will probably continue to sit until it rots - tried to sell it for a year and the only people who called wanted it for $200 so they could run in a demolition derby.
Btw - It would be cool if a BMW donk is called a "dink".
