The recently set 1,000 yard record was 10 shots in 2 3/8". 6mm, 105gr bullet. By Jim Richards, Sr. J.R. Jr. and JR III are in my local club, but they like shotguns.
Until then, I always thought bigger bullet for distance. Not so I guess. But geeeze, to shoot that good he must have had to allow for the change in the moon's gravitational pull as the string went on. ;^)
