I plowed again this morning, without incident, but I didn't waste any time. There is water moving through the radiator this time, but the bottom is cooler then the top.

But something has changed since the first over-heating, in that there is a racket coming from one of the things spinning things on the front. It could be the water pump, alt or hydraulic pump, but I'm thinking it would be a funny coincidence if it weren't the water pump.

Maybe a tired pump against slushy/frozen antifreeze pushed the water pump over the top?

Thanks for the thoughts. I'll let you know what I find.
