In my limited experience there seems to be two types of buyers, the guy who wants you to give it to him, and the guy who wants it. The latter is much harder to find.
I have a bunch of parts sitting around I offered to give away for the shipping cost as I couldn't bring myself to throw them out, and people would have me get them all packed up and then back out.
Quick to complain when you do scrap them though.
