suggestions on how to fix this?

The hole for the return spring on my brake pedal is worn out so bad it looks like it is about to fail soon. I suppose I could look for another brake pedal with less ware, but does anyone have thoughts on repairing this? I could get it brazed and re-drill it, but the brazing material is pretty soft and I don't think it will last. I am thinking about making a steel bushing for it and brazing that in the hole.

The casting # looks to be 921587-8
