Back in '66 my 8th grade science teacher told a tale about hitchiking across country, I think he was 10-122 years old. Getting a ride almost all the way in a Model T. How it would overheat and blow what looked like beef stew all over them.
IIRC, they finally drained and flushed, and put in a dose of "egg set", something the seals the air out of eggs.
I didn't like Aluma-seal, I think it makes oxides in the radiator. And I always thought Barr's was rabbit droppings in soluble oil. But I never had any rabbit droppings when the radiator was leaking, so I couldn't do a comparison.
