And I've never verified if it was used on the PW or not as I don't find that narrow year of truck with a bed or original brackets.

Anyone have a 1954 to 1957 C1-PW to W300 with an original bed and tailgate brackets? If so please check and see if the brackets match the images Scott posted above.
