A lot of times birds fly into the reflection of the glass he must have been really moving and hit hard to get Killed. We have a lot a hawks here too and this time of year the white snow owls rest high in the trees looking over our field waiting for any mice that may come out and run along the snow. Last summer one of them giant woodpeckers glanced off a semi going by he was dazed I went out on the road and picked him up it was a hot day, I brought him to the field beside the woods sit him down he was standing and just staring straight ahead I put a pan of water by his side and left him there where I could see him at a distance from the house side window about 20 minutes he flew away.
