It will be about 9 to 10 hours from Olympia to Red Bluff via I5.
DC is in Medford OR about 10 min off the freeway so you can pick up parts.
The Oregon Coast is wild and scenic but will add hours to your trip to Red Bluff. Crater Lake is usually not open that time of year.
Mt St Helens, the volcano, might be accessible depending on the snow level. We are really low on snow this year. There is lots to do depending on what your interests are.
