We own 2 newer Dodges both 2005s and 4X4. Mine is the 5.7 Hemi 3/4 Ton heavy duty 5 speed manual and the other is a Dodge 3500 4x4 Dually Cummins. The Hemi has given me no problems at all since I have owned it for a few years. Now my Daughters 3500 is a different story. I replaced the front drive shaft, wheel bearing and ball joints twice, complete brakes twice, injectors, couple sensors on the engine and a thermostat, vent doors broke on the heater, wiper switch not working right, door rocker switches plate broke, door handle on passenger side came loose etc. These 2 dodges have less than 150,000 miles and the 3500 Cummins has been a money hole(around $7,000.00) since she bought it and the 5.7 Hemi has been great just not as much pulling power on the hills.
