I emailed Cardone for specs on the 27-7500 (mid 70's PS box) and the 27-7515 (79 PS box). They got back to me within an hour. The 32 splines + 4blank is true for both the above boxes as well as the 1.25" diameter of the output shaft.
The casting number for both boxes is also the same, with the only difference that I can see being that of the input shaft size and splines: 7/8" versus 20mm. There might be some internal differences which weren't listed on the datasheet that I recieved.
It seems funny since the 7515 generally has a core charge of about $10+/-, whereas the 7500 is closer to $100.
